Rag & Bone Trainer Sneakers For the past few months i’ve been really into vintage Trainers. LeBron James DUNKED ON!

So ESPN is reporting that on Monday LeBron James was playing this kid from Xavier, Jordan Crawford. 20 minutes in the game Jordan Crawford gave Lebron James a facial dunk. Unfortunately no footage of this act exist due to Nike representatives confiscating all the video. It was said that LeBron after the game went over the to the Nike representative and explained what had just happened which lead to the video tape being confiscated.

If walking off the court after loosing a game & not shaking hands, refusing to talk the media, wearing his own MVP shirt (when you lost in the playoffs) and wearing a “check my stats” shirt wasn’t douche enough add this and it takes him to mega douche level.

Everyone gets dunked on in the NBA, it doesn’t make you less of a player. Luckily this footage wasn’t confiscated.

Soulja Boy - Turn My Swag On!

As much as i hate Soulja Boy i can’t get this song out of my head. If i ever released a rap music video it would look exactly like this. Gucci bed sheets and scarf, seg way, lots of ice, $100 bills all over the place, bow of cereal, Moded Xbox 360, executive desk and dancing in front of your mansion. The best part is when he rolls out in his all black lambo. shits hood.

Supra Thunder Grey Leather Supra Footwear was the first skate/shoe company to adopt the $100 price range for non skate-able Jordan-esque shoes. I wasn’t really fond to any of the high tops they had there success with but things have changed. The latest addition and push for non skate-able footwear are these Thunder Grey Leather. The kicks portray a classic court with a mesh of classic vans but with the classic Supra high top style. This new rendition of the Thunder is now available through Factory413. Supra’s Jim Greco Thunder Grey Leather are definitely a step in the right direction. Now let me get some low top in stealth black. source

Visvim Fall/Winter 2009 Outerwear In the past i’ve bashed Japanese label Visvim for releasing weak products but i retract my opinion with this collection. The latest Fall/Winter 2009 outwear collection doesn’t compare or even come close (aside from Wings + Horns posted earlier this week) to any other collection released this year. All the jackets are designed to be distinguished and live on its own. For example the denim jacket sits far from the vintage leather jacket and wool coach jacket. The collection covers every angle needed to release a line that covers every angle. Favorite items: leather hooded, vintage leather and cotton based hunter style jacket. A.P.C Autumn/Winter 2009 I have to admit i was a bit underwhelmed with the this years Spring/Summer A.P.C collection. I’m sure not wearing shorts or short sleeves tees had something to do with this. The few image previews shown above bring promising items to A.P.C Autumn/Winter upcoming collection. The chino pants seem to be in the Petit fit (excited). The sailor intarsia sweater is neat but the jackets/coats and duffel bag seem promising. Where’s the A.P.C denim? what new washes do they have? Need answers now. source

HUFFER 2009 Summer Collection New Zealand brand HUFFER has an interesting collection. Lots of color blocking but the part i don’t like is that the look book has the model wearing the same jeans. Vendor Nubian Collection The current Vendor Nubian tee collection has some great simplistic art that is strongly driven by typography instead of graphics/logos. Typography on tees in my opinion works well when a company is trying to sell design rather than brand identification. I believe more companies should focus on this but of course my opinion/taste is irrelevant considering there clientele. source

Adidas Samba Trainer I find it hard to believe Adidas has yet to consider launching a vintage sneaker collection. If you have Nike killing it with the re-issues of the tennis court, flywire cortez and high top suede blazers it only makes sense for Adidas to capitalize re-releasing one of the best looking sneakers “vintage Samba editions”. It just makes perfect sense to me. Thinning out the sole adding a few stitching/piecing here and there, fresh color ways give me the exclusive for hype and boom you got yourself $$. I should consider consulting as a career, ha! The new Samba color ways are available here in green, purple and orange, meh. source

Petar Petrov Spring 2010 Ignore the thinnest of the fabric and nipple exposure of the dude wearing the tank. I want you to look at the broad asymmetrical stripe with skin tone colors. It’s rare for me to point out a good stripe but the simpleness and just slightly tilt of it makes it different. The short sleeve tee also has good use of contrast fabrication white/grey heather and black. Overall the Petar Pretrov collection is a bit over the top but just enought to extract inspiration from it. source

Opening Ceremony Fall/Winter 2009 Footwear I’ve posted a few of these shoes before but this time around Opening Ceremony got a chance to update the fabrication. The Desert boot have a darker shade of brown leather but with the same silhouettes. The laced up shoes have a combination of leather / suede and the slip ons are now available in traditional black leather. The price on these are still not recession friendly but staring at them through your computer is free. source
