“Rules for My Unborn Son” by Walker Lamond

I got to admit, it was a bit awkward buying this book due to the title. It’s easily assumed I don’t have a kid by buying this book but I couldn’t resist.

Walker Lamond gives great advice not only for my “unborn son” but for myself. The book is hard cover (excellent) comes with a note section and filled with quotes from people like Benjamin Franklin.

Highly Recommended

Lyle & Scott Fair Isle Crewneck Jumper

If your looking for the perfect Winter/Holiday season this Lyle & Scott crew neck won’t disappoint. Lately I’ve been seeing a ton of jacquard sweater knit patterns but in my opinion Lyle & Scott do it right. I do agree with Selectism and would prefer the sweater without the chest “eagle” embroidery.

The self proclaimed “Ovechkin” of the rap game release it’s debut album last week and I got to say at first I wasn’t feeling. After a few listens it’s growing on me. World Tour, Mirrors and this track are my favorite.

A.P.C 2009 Winter Collection

Designer, Jean Touitou showcased the up and coming A.P.C Holiday 2009 collection. The collection consist in puffy jackets, wool grandpa pants, heavy gauge preppy sweaters, leather duffels and nautical stripe long sleeve. A.P.C is also now offering the Nike Court low in White/Black along with my personal favorite, 100% vegetable leather boots.

I’ve been looking for a casual jacket but could not decide what I wanted till’ now. The G4 Baracuta is not only casual but a basic classic. It sits up there with the M65 and Members Only silhouettes. A few details that make the G4 dinstictive are the slanted hand pockets and contrast plaid liner. The hem of the jacket is usually short and often worn un-zipped, must have.

THe Macrophenomenal Pro Basketball Almanac

My dad was kind enough to get me the NBA League Pass for the 2009-2010 season and man oh man is it great. The only complain I have is that all the games are in SD quality, no HD. I get to watch all the Rockets game (Ariza fan here), all the Cavs games and even the KD35 games.

Bobby was kind enough to let me borrow the Freedarko, The Macrophenomenal Pro Basketball Almanac and I’ve been hooked. The illustrations are amazing, graphs, statistics and player anatomy make you feel like a huge geek.

Highly Recoomend this book for NBA fans.

Canadian based brand Wings + Horns continues to impress me. Pictured above are a few new/old styles for Fall 2009. The heathered hoodie is an update to a previously released style just now with a hood. The shawl collar silhouette continues to show up in collections. My favorite is the quilted chambray jacket, perfect for the cold weather.
